A single moment can change the course of our lives. It can turn happiness into a crushing reality, and it can turn sadness into a celebration. A single moment can feel as if we were hit by a freight train or we were lifted up so high, floating around the clouds.
Our lives are nothing but single moments, each impacting our journey, changing our plans, and shifting our being. From graduation, to saying “I Do”, to having a family, to the doctor telling a loved one they have a life altering medical condition. Each and every one of those moments, whether good or bad, they all impact our growth, our attitude, our joy, and even our faith. How we respond in those moments is what really counts. There’s a lesson somewhere, although it may be extremely challenging to see it in the beginning, we tend to see it when we look back and reflect on what we just experienced.
Don’t take those moments for granted. Embrace them the best way you can and look for opportunities where opportunities are not expected.
