This is a bittersweet week for me as both my girls are going back to school. My oldest will be in third grade and my youngest will start Kindergarten. On the last day of school we created a bucket list together (my family loves making a list and checking it off) and started our journey of completing as many of the items on the list as possible. It has been an epic summer for us. This is the first summer where I’ve been home with my girls to truly enjoy them and enjoy their summer break with them. In the past, I had to work and they spent their days at my parent’s house. However, this year was extremely exciting for them and myself to see what we could do together.
I’ve always been an individual who loves working. I’ve enjoyed my job and the people I worked with. Never, in my wildest dreams did I think that I would enjoy being home fulltime, managing the family and my business. Although juggling meetings, carpools, gymnastics, playdates, and other activities has been challenging, it has been rewarding at the same time.

I had to make a conscious decision to stay home by taking a leap of faith and pursuing what I have always believed was my calling and the reason I was brought to this country. This leap of faith required a change in my mindset and attitude. Instead of longing to go to work, my mindset shifted to longing to spend more and more time with my girls and to be creative in the time we have together. This was not an easy transition but it’s amazing when we’re willing to change our mindset and spread our wings beyond our limitations how much we can accomplish.
I am happy to report that we were able to complete 90% of our bucket list before they start school and the quality time we had together was absolutely priceless. All it took was a slight shift that made a world of difference. What slight shift do you need to make to have an impact in your life? What part of your life needs a mindset or attitude adjustment to achieve new possibilities? You don’t need to move mountains to change your world.
Your commitment to the girls is the most beautiful thing to do …The investment in them will last a lifetime and transfer to their children and the following generation .. Amazing how significant one can be ❤Thank you for sharing these beautiful .moments😊
