Fall is absolutely my favorite season. I love this time of the year for many reasons, cooler days, pumpkins and decorations, the anticipation of all the holidays around the corner, and the best part of all, the changing of the leaves. It’s the perfect time for a scenic hike.
Fall brings so much beauty. It takes a typical and boring street and turns it into a stunning painting.
As I watch the leaves change from green to vibrant colors of red, yellow, and orange, I can’t help but reflect on the changes that happen this time of the year to prepare for the winter months. When nature awakens in the spring, it makes the transition well worth it.
We, too, experience change daily, and with change comes the preparation for the storms that transition us and prepare us for what’s to come. With each change, we experience discomfort that equips us with life lessons for the next chapter.
When we embrace our change, we become better individuals because of the lessons learned and the growth experienced.
“October is a symphony of permanence and change.” Bonaro W. Overstreet
