We experience the power of perception daily. It governs how we see things and shapes our judgment, which leads to impacting our behavior.
Most of us are familiar with the “David and Goliath” story. Goliath was a giant no one dared to stand up to, except for one young man…a shepherd to be exact. When David volunteered to face the giant and do what no one else dared, he was laughed at. His brothers, military men, couldn’t see past the small shepherd boy. But God saw a king.
It’s easy to get caught up with what’s right in front of us because we take it as reality. We make a snap judgment and instantly shut down any possibilities.
Don’t be bound by the initial perception. Limitations are easier to spot than opportunities.
