My family loves puzzles! Lately, we’ve been producing one puzzle every few weeks, and most of them have been Disney, of course! Recently, I noticed that my husband likes to look at the picture that comes with the box before he starts working on it. I, on the other hand, enjoy the mystery of not knowing and solving the puzzle without visual aid. Working through the small details to see the big picture clearly is what I appreciate the most.
As we’ve been working on our latest Mickey Mouse puzzle, I started thinking about how in life sometimes we will not start something unless we see the big picture first. Although both methods are valid in solving a puzzle as they both achieve the ultimate goal. In life, it’s not quite that easy. The big picture isn’t always available, and at times it may even change as we work through. However, waiting until the big picture is clear, we could lose the element of surprise and the adventures that come with the unknown which could teach us valuable lessons about who we are. Waiting could lead to delays that eventually turn into procrastination and maybe never even starting.
Life is full of puzzles, don’t wait for the clear picture, just grab a section and start piecing it together, you may end up with a beautiful masterpiece.
