We live in a world where mass uniqueness is not the norm. We spend too much time looking at what others have that we don’t, instead of focusing on what we do have. From materialistic things such as a house, car, etc. to the stressors of body image, to the pressures of social media and the unrealistic expectations. It seems difficult to truly standout…to be SPECIAL.
And yet, you ARE special! Your gifts, abilities and talents are unique to you and you only. Others may have similar ones, but they are not identical to yours. You can make a difference in your life, your home, your church, your work, and your community, only if you know what to do with all of that goodness that’s inside of you. Your uniqueness sets you apart from everyone else, which allows you to excel and puts you ahead of your peers. However, it’s not your uniqueness that makes the difference; it’s what you do with it that sets you apart.
So today, my question to you is how are you using your uniqueness?
