    A few weeks ago, I listened to a talk about the word ‘eulogy.’ I can’t remember the content of the talk but the word stuck out. So I researched the word’s meaning and its origination. According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, Eulogy means high praise, good speech, a commendatory oration in honor of one deceased. The word originated from the Greek word eulogia, which means “to praise” somebody or something. We hear the word eulogy and we naturally associate it with funerals.
