Sometimes it’s easy to take gratitude for granted. As we live our busy lives, juggling so many tasks, and enduring life storms, we forget to pause and be grateful. We allow ourselves to get wrapped up in the struggles and all the things we need to complete each week that we neglect our thankfulness muscles.
Practicing gratitude is like going to the gym. The more you exercise, the stronger and healthier you get. The more you practice gratitude the stronger your thankfulness muscles get. The more you express your gratitude, the more you will notice things to be grateful for.
This year more than any other we need to find our voice of gratitude. We need to be intentional in our appreciation, even for the little things in life. Being grateful shifts our mindset and attitude, and it’s contagious. So let’s start spreading gratefulness instead of fear and doubt.
Expand your expression of gratitude beyond the month of November and be the change this world desperately needs.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
